Denver County Traffic Court Online Traffic Case Search

The Denver County Court has now instituted an internet web site that permits information to be found about a Denver traffic case online. The traffic case information available by internet web site is for both Denver Traffic Division Cases and for Denver County Criminal Court traffic cases.

The web site allows individuals to look up their case by the case number to obtain detailed information including the charges alleged in the traffic case, the history of the case, and the next court date, time and location. Denver Traffic Division cases are typically identified by a letter followed by six digits. This letter and six numerals can typically be found on the side of the subject “Denver Uniform Traffic Summons and Complaint/Penalty Assessment Notice” issued to a motorist.

The case number for Denver County Criminal Court traffic cases is not set forth on the “Criminal Summons and Complaint” issued to a motorist in such matters. The case number must be determined by doing a name search on the web site, calling the court, or appearing at the Court. To do an online internet search of a Denver County Criminal Court traffic case the case number must be entered using the last two digits of the subject year the case was originally filed with the court, a letter which is typically an “M”, and the subject numerals appearing after the letter in the case number, all without spaces.

Other Denver County Court Online Resources

The Denver County Court web site also permits individuals to remit payments in Denver traffic cases where a court appearance is not required and there are no other restrictions preventing payment on the internet. However, caution must be exercised in making a payment online due to the fact it can be considered an admission of guilt.

The Denver web site has an additional function that permits an individual to search all of their currently online payable cases by their full name. This is helpful if a person believes that a payment may be due, but they do not know other information regarding their unresolved Denver traffic cases.

In addition to the foregoing an individual may find their next Denver court date and time in their traffic case by entering in the appropriate boxes the person’s first and last names and their date of birth.

Finally, the web site allows an individual to do a search of all of their pending and closed traffic cases in the Denver County Court Criminal Division and Traffic Division. However, there is a fee of $2.00 that is charged for this online search.
