Lakewood Municipal Courts
The Municipal Court handles violations of the Lakewood Municipal Code. Lakewood Police agents also write citations into the Jefferson County Court. The Lakewood Municipal Court tickets begin with an “L” or “LE”. Please check the ticket to confirm which court is handling the case.
General Court Hours
8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the exception of applicable court holidays and special closures.
- Traffic and Animal Arraignments are held at 8:15 a.m., Monday through Thursday.
- Adult Arraignments are held at 1:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
- Juvenile Arraignments are held at 2:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday.

The Municipal Court is located in the Lakewood Public Safety Building at 445 South Allison Parkway. This is one block west of Wadsworth Boulevard and one block south of Alameda Avenue.
